Comments: Dr Hobizal did extensive surgery on my right foot for hammertoe & some other complicated issues that she very carefully explained to me almost 3 years ago. She prescribed therapy afterwards which aided in the healing process & was very helpful then & after. It was considered a successful surgery. After a year some numbness started & I assumed it was from nerves being cut in the surgery & that it was normal … but it got worse as the months went by. My hammertoe began to lift & cross onto the big toe again. The numbness started to feel like my foot was paralyzed. Our GP thought it was probably peripheral neuropathy so I started to use some essential oils & other topicals that only helped temporarily. I attempted to see Dr Hobizal but she had left the group in Monaca where I first met her & there was no forwarding information. I tried to find her myself for a year. I recently found her in Chippewa & made an appt.
I cannot give enough praise to this wonderful woman!!! She remembered my story & knew my history. She took time with me and REALLY LISTENED to me & what I had been experiencing. She was through & thoughtful in her questions…going further in getting at the root of my current problem to really understand how to help me. I could go on & on, but what one should know about this doc is that she takes plenty of time to understand her patients need. She is professional & knows her field of expertise…explains what she believes the problem is & what to do about it! She has the latest equipment & cutting edge technology. I came into that appt … my foot as numb as it could possibly be…feeling like my toes were paralyzed…after LISTENING TO ME she made a plan & presented it to me. The next
hour was taken up with that plan & I walked out of her office with the numbness resolved. It was like a miracle!! She told me that the numbness might return, but it was a good sign that the stem treatment she gave me worked & I didn’t have the numbness at that point! My foot felt better than it had in years! I am able to sleep without the numbness waking me up multiple times a night. This is written 2 days after that initial stem treatment & I am beginning to feel a little numbness, but it is nothing like it was before. There is more to the plan that has to be implemented, but I feel very hopeful for what is to come! I wanted to include the girls on staff as part of my review…they are wonderful as well!!! Samantha is a darling who is gentle & kind…& very patient…the receptionist was a joy to deal with!(I’m sorry I don’t remember her name). I am so thankful I re-connected with her & will refer Dr Kimberlee Hobizal to everyone I know!!! The Lord Bless you all!
